We had a great time at the Encinitas Street Fair. There was a great turn out with lots of smiling faces (even with the high temperatures!)

I am being comissioned to do a portrait of two Golden Retreivers.The picture will be done in pastels.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in the quaint town of Kirkland. The colors there are very vibrant - they seem to breathe with life and vitality. Art and color has always fascinated me. I really can’t remember a time that, even as a small girl peering up eyes shaded with a small hand delighted by the dancing sunlight as it lit up the leaves of the trees casting shadows one upon the other in varying shades of emerald and chartreuse, I didn’t just “see” color I “felt” color. Although I have been painting for many years now I am still learning (I don’t think we ever stop). I do feel my art expresses and shares my love and appreciation for the beauty we have around us.
